New LineaPro 7
We are proud to introduce the new addition to our range of iOS compatible devices – the LineaPro 7, designed to be paired with the recently released Apple iPhone 7. This is a 7th consecutive year for Datecs being the first to launch an enterprise mobility solution compatible with Apple products. The LineaPro 7 features a 1D or 2D barcode scanner as well as a magnetic stripe reader. Its compact design makes it the perfect handheld system, ideal for accelerating customer checkouts around the entire store. Two optional additions to the device are the RFID reader and the Bluetooth, which widen its functionality spectrum even further.

BluePad-50 Conquers Japan
On 25th of October KDDI Co. Ltd, KDDI Financial Services Co. Ltd. и Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos Co. Ltd started a pilot in seven shops from the au brand by introducing the mobile payment terminal, BluePad-50. In November they plan to equip all 2,500 stores of the au SHOP brand with our payment terminals. The main advantage offered by BluePad-50 is that it accepts both credit cards and e-money, the latter being very popular in Japan. The terminal is connected to J-MUPS, a multi-channel cloud-based system developed by Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos and Japan Railway East Japan Mecatronics Co. Ltd. The system is highly secure, has a very high transaction processing speed and provides the ability of adding new functionality to the terminal even after it has been installed in the store.
